After three years away, we're thrilled to announce that this year's Swiss National Day celebration will take place on the grounds of the Swiss Embassy. While the grounds are open, the construction at the Chancellery is still ongoing and space may be limited.
As always, there will be delicious Swiss food, wine and beer, music and entertainment, activities for all ages, and our ever popular Tombola and Super Raffle. To better enjoy the event, please bring lawn chairs, beach umbrellas, swimsuits for the pool, and sunscreen!
Gates open at 4:00pm and close for entry at 6:00pm.
Swiss National Day will take place rain or shine.
Please leave pets at home, only Service Animals are allowed.
Entrance fee includes entertainment, Swiss sausages, salad, desert and water;
a lampion will be provided to all children (ages 2-12).
Cash bar is available for soda, beer and wine.

Come Celebrate Switzerland
Swiss National Day Celebration Hosted By:

- Swiss Club of Washington, DC
This year, the Swiss community of greater Washington, DC is hosting a different kind of Swiss National Day celebration. The Swiss Benevolent Society, the Swiss Bakery and the Swiss Club of Washington DC have joined together to host an event that celebrates our shared Swiss heritage and benefits those in our community who need it most.
The Swiss National Day celebration will be held on August 1st at The Swiss Bakery in Northern Virginia with Swiss food, music, antiques and souvenirs. The proceeds from the sale of sausages, water and Swiss antiques will benefit the Swiss Benevolent Society and theirmission to assist the most vulnerable in our greater Washington DC Swiss community.
To guarantee a seat, please bring your own CHAIR and remember the Brockenstube, Pro Patria Pins and Lampions will all be CASH transactions.
There are still opportunities to volunteer so please contact lynn.zipf@swissclubdc.org as soon as possible to get your volunteer slot.
